The Origin Story
DeAnna created The Penny Planner after listening to homeschool moms struggle with rigid, off-the-shelf layouts. Using her background in education, she set out to craft a customizable solution that fits your exact rhythm without wasting paper on filler pages.
Partnering with Josh, co-owner of Penny and Prophet, brought the vision full circle. His wife, Whitney, teaches their four kids in a local homeschool community, giving their family a front-row seat to the balancing act of co-ops, core subjects, and home life. Together, their shared experiences shape every layout, tracker, and feature built for The Penny Planner.
